报告摘要:

Many industry control systems are required to track periodic reference and reject disturbances, such as motor control, compact disc, magnetic levitation system and power system. Repetitive Control (RC) is a well-known method for compensating periodic signals. RC is related to the learning and based on the Internal Model Principle (IMP), which is attached inside the feedback loop, and behaves as a periodic signal generator in order to achieve steady state accuracy. There are many challenges in the design of repetitive control systems including stability analysis, parameter estimation and robustness against uncertainties and disturbances, etc.

In this talk, we will first introduce the fundamentals of RC. We will then discuss various approaches in dealing with various challenges using some of our current research projects as case studies. We will conclude with future challenges and potential research perspectives.

报告人简介:

 

 

Prof. Zhenwei Cao received the B.S. and M.E. degrees from the Department of Automation, Southeast University, China, and the Ph.D. degree from the University of Newcastle, Australia respectively. After working in several universities as Research Engineer, Lecturer and Senior Lecturer, she is currently a Professor in the Faculty of Science, Engineering and Technology, Swinburne University of Technology, Melbourne, Australia. Her current research interests are in system modelling, signal processing, intelligent control, robotics, biomedical systems, electric vehicles and factory automation. In these areas, Zhenwei has published over 100 papers in refereed journals and conference proceedings such as IEEE/ASME Transactions on Mechatronics, IEEE Transactions on Industrial Electronics, and IEEE Transactions on Industrial Informatics, etc. She has served as organizing committee members, secession chairs and track chairs for many international conferences. She is a Fellow of Engineers Australia (The Institution of Engineers, Australia).
